Saturday morning here...I hope you enjoyed your second week.  I am very impressed with the number of students logging on to both the website and CHARMS.  GREAT JOB!  I also hope you enjoyed your reward yesterday.  I love the idea of having a points system.  We will be taking advantage of that system a lot this year.  Oh well...enjoy your weekdend!

All Medical/Travel Forms are due today!  If you've turned the form in by the end of the day today, you will receive 10 points!  Also, if you complete your CHARMS personal info by Friday, you will receive 10 additional points.  Now...I've been telling you that you could earn more points, but I haven't told you how.  Well, I'm trying to find creative ways to encourage visits to this site and the CHARMS site.  So, if you leave a comment on this post by Friday, you will receive 5 addtional points.  All students with 20 points will receive a reward, but those students with 25 points will receive something in addition to that reward!  So, leave a comment!

Hey EVERYBODY!  It's been a good weekend for me, and I hope its been a good for you too.  I've been sitting here editing photos for about 3 hours and my eyes needed a little break, so I thought I'd say hey.  I'm looking forward to the second week.  We've almost got all of the "first week of school" stuff behind us.  I've had 138 of you log in to your CHARMS account and edit your info...that's GREAT!  Remember...try to have all of this up-to-date by Friday in order to receive points for having done it.  And...be listening and logging on to see how you can earn additional points.  I may say it in class, or I may say it online...only time will tell!  

What a great week...I really enjoyed being back in class with everybody.  I think we have a lot to look forward to this year.  I was very encouraged by the 8th grade this week.  They may be going to step it up and make some really cool stuff happen!  I hope all of you come in ready to work next week.  We'll tackle All-State prep and much more!  Have a good weekend!

So far so good...I think it's been a good start to the new year. We have some work to do in order to get us where we need to be, but that's what we do, so we're good.  Also, I just looked at Charms and we've had almost 100 people log in to their account today.  THAT'S GREAT!  I'll see you on day three.

It was a great first day!  I hope lots of you took the opportunity to go home and check out this site.  I'm working on setting up the remaining CHARMS accounts now, so maybe everyone will have access tomorrow.  Don't forget to check out that new roller coaster at Universal Studios.  I can't wait!

It was great to see all of you again.  It's always interesting to see how much y'all change over the summer.  It's crazy!  I really feel like this is going to be a great year for us.  I'm really looking forward to it!  I hope you have a good weekend!

Open House for our 6th grade students went great!  It was nice to meet all of the new students and find out how they were feeling about coming to Chestatee.  Everybody seems to be worried about singing in front of the class.  NO WORRIES!  6th grade will not have to do that until January!  Whew...I hope that makes you feel better.  The other scary thing seems to be the LOCKERS....

Today was the first day back at CMS.  A lot of cleaning going on...Anyway, it was a great summer, but I'm definitley looking forward to seeing everybody again!  I think this will be a great year!  One more week for all of you!  ENJOY IT!
